Pathway established for recognition of ACI accredited dealers in Australia

A pathway has been established whereby ACI accredited dealers can become authorised to operate within Australia.

The ACI Dealing Certificate and Diploma have been mapped to the Australian requirements for financial services representatives and a ‘top up’ solution created.  This ‘top up’ covers the Australian regulatory and economic environment, and meets the knowledge and skills requirements for dealers within Australia as set down by the Australian regulator (ASIC).

What do you need to operate in Australia?

Once the Australian 'top-up' (the Financial Services Core module, Core exam and skills assessments) has been successfully completed, ACI accredited dealers will have met the requirements of:

• the Australian regulator (ASIC) and Policy Statement 146 which provides guidance on the minimum training standards required for financial services representatives within Australia
